Some resources concerning the Chinese revolution newly released by Russia since 1997 have been translated and published in China, which prompted new research findings in this area. Issues that have been neglected are now drawing more attention, and topics that have not been dwelt on are now probed. Research questions such as Party construction during the great revolution, the relationship between the Communist International and the great revolution, and Chen Duxiu in the great revolution are explored in depth and breakthroughs have been achieved. Nevertheless, there still exist some defects in this research area because of the influence of the traditional way of thinking.
