Models of labor relations in contemporary developed countries are diversified. The paper attempts to analyze the diversity and divergence of these models of labor relations in contemporary developed countries based on the characters of their employment system in enterprises and their coordination mechanism for labor relations. These models are generalized into three types. They are the model of free diversification represented by the United States, the model of coordination and cooperation represented by Germany, and the model of common interests represented by Japan. The causes that had led to these different models and their impact on national economic development are also discussed.

Innovation and Logical Starting Point of Chinese Political Economics——On Applicability of Historical Materialism in Studies of Chinese Modern History
    QIU Hai-ping
    Teaching and Research    2010, (3): 19-24.
    Abstract1248)      PDF(pc) (2480KB)(1881)       Save
The article holds that theoretical innovation of the Chinese political economics should not be confined to debates on or innovation of individual theories.Innovation of the methodology is more important.A major methodological limitation of the Chinese political economics or the Chinese socialist political economics lies in mechanically copying the "paradigm" of "production–productive relation–super structure" from historical materialism, resulting in contradictions between theory and reality and problems in the theory itself. One solution to this is to reinterpret the nature and characters of the "state" since the founding of new China and its relation with the productive relation and social productivity from the perspectives of development of the modern world system and China’s own social structure.

A Comparative Study of Marx’s Theories of Market Value and Market Price and Relevant Western Economic Theories
    QIU Hai-ping
    Teaching and Research    2008, (10): 70-77.
    Abstract1122)      PDF(pc) (1536KB)(1659)       Save
The establishment of Marx’s theories on market value and market price marked his contribution to development and a major breakthrough of the theory of labor value in classical economics. It is also an important theoretical innovation to interpret the contradiction between value theory and the actual price in classical economics.Accurate understanding of this theory of Marx may add to our understanding of the relation between the use value and price of commodity, which will extend our knowledge of the double meaning of social necessary time of labor.

Proper Understanding of Marx’s Economic Theories and Development of Capitalism
    QIU Hai-ping
    Teaching and Research    2007, (7): 10-16.
    Abstract1269)      PDF(pc) (1774KB)(1875)       Save
Marxist economics is a set of theories about development of capitalism. The course of development of capitalism in about a hundred years has proved some of the claims and analysis of Marx about capitalism. The fact that changes in modern capitalism has not caused fundamental changes in the capitalist production mode implies that the economic principles exposed by Marx still function. The author holds that Marx’s predictions that capitalism was declining when he discussed the historical trend of capitalist development and the"theory about abolition of capitalism"he raised in analysis of the capitalist nature of holdings company had pointed to two different issues. Therefore, the author argues that no conflicting ideas exist between these propositions.

Creativity-oriented Theories of Management by the Enterprise
    QIU Hai-ping, YANG Yang
    Teaching and Research    2006, (5): 19-24.
    Abstract1152)      PDF(pc) (1567KB)(1799)       Save
Introduction and application of the mainstream theory of management by the enterprise in China started in the early 1990s,but its development process afterwards does not seem to be satisfactory, for the Chinese economists have neglected reflections on its fundamental idea-the theory of enterprise contract. This paper attempts to introduce a creativity-oriented theory of enterprise management by referring to the developmental strategy of the state and emphasizing importance of creativity in the production process.A more profound interpretation of management by the enterprise in state-owned companies is offered. The authors suggest that more attention be directed to creativity-oriented theories of enterprise management in researches on reform of state-owned companies in China.

Dual Development of Socialization of Production and Changes in Size of Enterprises
    QIU Hai-ping
    Teaching and Research    2001, (4): 47-52.
    Abstract1167)      PDF(pc) (853KB)(1614)       Save
Development of centralized production and social division of work are the dual manifestation of socialization of production. Centralization raises social productivity and scale efficiency, while division of work leads to specialization, resulting in higher level of individual productivity and level of specialty in production. Duality in socialization of production and shifting of the two aspects perform the most fundamental and far-reaching function in influencing the scale of production and size of enterprise. This phenomenon also accounts for the most profound reason why developed capitalism is still alive today.
