China PAN Huan-zhao Teaching and Research    2004, (7): 70-76.   Abstract （1813）      PDF（pc） （2630KB）（1592）       Knowledge map    Save Sun Yat-sen’s idea of nationalism has exercised heavy influence on the Chinese Communist Party’s guidelines for the founding of P. R. China, as the Party needed previous social and political theories and cultural heritage as the point of departure for her own theoretical frame. In this sense, nationalism maintained by Sun Yat-sen who sympathized socialism and who had established a series ideas of democratic republic, served as a direct reference. The author holds that this influence, which consisted of ownership of the state and form of the state, cannot be simply interpreted in terms of political strategies. They are the stage of initiation, the stage of extension, the stage of frustration and the stage of maturity. Each stage is marked by striking characteristics of the time. Three general characteristics of Mao Zedong studies are identified in this article. First, these studies have been developing side by side with the progression of Mao Zedong thought itself. Second, studies and propaganda of Mao Zedong thought have maintained an interactive pattern.
