Since the implementation of the reform and open-up policies the foreign direct investment of the Chinese enterprises has been increasing rapidly,which composes an important part of the "going out" strategy.Now,China has become the eighth largest direct investment exporter in the world and the largest direct investment exporter among the emerging countries.The paper offers a review of the latest research findings at home and abroad on the mode and achievements of the foreign direct investment of the Chinese enterprises.Suggestions for future researches are also presented.
