A Review of the PhD Dissertations in Ideological and Political Education in the Past Ten Years:Retrospection and Reflection

By collecting data from PhD dissertations in the field of ideological and political education in the years of 2000 to 2009,the author analyzed the general distribution of these dissertations,and summarized their achievements and limitations.On the basis of this analysis,conclusions were reached that to raise the academic influence of PhD dissertations,it was necessary to focus on the connotation of the discipline,clarify the discipline boundaries,advocate academic thinking,promote theoretical innovation,normalize research methodology,and optimize the academic territory.
