China's independent knowledge system of economics regards “the revolution of terminology” as the method of extracting knowledge elements; it takes the “important theoretical achievements” of Xi Jinping's economic thought as the framework, forming a knowledge link integrated by four basic aspects; and it considers the new development philosophy as the main content, and the core position and essential characteristics, institutional reform and economic operation, fundamental methods and strategic thinking as the three major sections of the “systematic” knowledge framework. From the “independent innovation capability” to the “independent innovation path” and then to the “independent innovation focus”, the academic and theoretical characteristics of Chinas independent knowledge system of economics are formed.
