Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select On the Holistically Open and Multi-dimensional Concept of Peaceful Development GUO Shu-yong, XIA Xia Teaching and Research    2008, (11): 51-57.   Abstract （1254）      PDF（pc） （1035KB）（1671）       Knowledge map    Save Peaceful development is the major strategy China proclaimed at home and to the world during our critical period of growing towards a big power.In order to meet the challenges in the course of development and to adjust to the new international situation,we should adopt a multi-dimensional holistic concept of peaceful development.This concept can be explained as follows:First of all,we should integrate international strategy and domestic strategy,and coodinate more efficiently various organizations that are responsible for foreign affairs.Secondly,we should not overemphasize the uniqueness of the model of peaceful development;instead,we should let our strategic views be integrated into the mainstream strategic views in the international community and consider them as the result of the long-time peaceful movement of the international community in the modern times.Next,we should attend to all aspects in politics,economy,social and military affairs,taking both mild and forceful measures,and participate in all international affairs.Finally,we should combine limited responsibility with the general ethical responsibility,combine regional strategy with global strategy,and transfer from one-faceted diplomatic strategies to complex diplomatic strategies.
