Revision and Progress of Security Complex Theory by the Copenhagen School

The Copenhagen School with its researches on European security represented by Barry Buzan and Ole Waever has been active in the field of international security and has made a lot of contributions.They became a most influential school because of their well-known Security Complex Theory(SCT).This paper is meant to outline a complete theoretical framework of The SCT.It begins with a brief introduction to the background and historical evolution of The SCT,followed by analyses of the themes and characteristics of the Classical Security Complex Theory(CSCT),the Transcendental Classical Security Complex Theory,and the Regional Security Complex Theory with the intention of arriving at a general framework of the theory.At the end of the paper comments and analysis of the Security Complex Theory are offered.
