The US and the EU try to contain China through political means such as securitizing digital technology standards, creating barriers in international standardization bodies, and constructing exclusive standardization cooperation mechanisms. China, on the other hand, has adopted a series of depoliticization measures, such as conducting digital partnership diplomacy through the Digital Silk Road, promoting inclusive cooperation on the basis of existing international platforms, and strengthening participation in the whole process of standard setting.
