For Selected: Download Citations EndNote Ris BibTeX Toggle Thumbnails Select A Preliminary Study of Mechanism of Energy Cooperation in SCO CHEN Xiao-qin Teaching and Research    2009, (9): 56-61.   Abstract （1227）      PDF（pc） （1063KB）（1846）       Knowledge map    Save With the further progress of globalization of energy,the study of new relationship between energy producing countries and energy consuming countries becomes one of the hot research themes.Now,a series of striking large scale transportation schema and energy schema are being carried out within SCO.Since these schema are all confined to bilateral cooperation,one of the goals of the proposed Energy Club is to provide opportunities for multilateral energy cooperation among SCO members.Due to the complexity of the climate of energy cooperation within the SCO,proper approaches to normalization and systemization of equal dialogue and communication are being explored with the intention to establish a valid coordination mechanism to clarify the right and responsibility of each party.The author concludes that this is not only the needs of SCO to reinforce its function,but is also the right and inevitable choice to meet the needs of maintaining common energy security and to promote common economic interests of relevant countries. Reference | Related Articles | Metrics | Comments（0） Select The Historical Course of the Russian Energy Strategic CHEN Xiao-qin Teaching and Research    2006, (10): 39-44.   Abstract （1162）      PDF（pc） （1163KB）（2152）       Knowledge map    Save With the accelerating steps of economic globalization in the 21st century,the importance and complexity of the issue of energy becomes increasingly obvious.Major countries in the world have taken measures to make and perfect their energy security strategies.As a major producer and importer of energy in the world,Russia’s adjustment of her energy strategy will undoubtedly leave a strong impact on the worldwide quality and stability of energy supply.Therefore,the Russian energy strategy has become the focus of attention in the world.The policy-making of the Russian energy strategy has undergone a long process of development.Although Russia is faced with a completely different geographical,political and economic international environment,the energy policy of the former USSR still composes the major objective and material ground of the present Russian energy strategy.A historical analysis and comparative study of the energy strategies of the USSR,the Yeltsin reign and Putin reign will establish our understanding of the evolution course of energy strategy and characteristics of each period.And this will shed light on our studies and discussions about the current issues of energy with a more objective and historical viewpoint.It will also offer references for us in making and improving our own energy strategies.
