Abstract: The Communist Party of China is an advanced political party armed with Marxist theory. Using the basic principles of Marxism to guide China's practice is a musthave skill for the Chinese communists. In order to master the skill through earnest study of Marxist theory, the Chinese communists must learn, understand, and comprehend the Marxist classics with an attitude of making “breakthrough”; we must learn and master the Marxist stance, viewpoint, and method in a practical, honest, and targeted way with a “practical” attitude; we must study the Marxist classics with a “thinking” attitude and then grasp the spiritual essence of Marxist theory; and we must integrate the basic tenets of Marxism with Chinas specific realities with an “alive” attitude, and learn to apply Marxist theory to Chinas specific realities. Constantly drawing scientific wisdom and spiritual strength from the Marxist classics and accurately understanding the spiritual essence of Marxist theory not only reflect the scientific attitude and method of the Chinese communists in learning the Marxist classics, but also are the inherent requirement for the Chinese communists, as the backbone of the Chinese people, to take the lead at all times all along.

摘要： 中国共产党是以马克思主义理论武装起来的先进政党。运用马克思主义基本原理指导中国实践，这是中国共产党人必须掌握的看家本领。而要通过认真学习马克思主义理论掌握看家本领，中国共产党人就要以“攻”的态度学懂弄通、学深悟透马克思主义经典著作；就要以“实”的态度实事求是、老老实实、有的放矢地学习掌握马克思主义的立场、观点和方法；就要以“思”的态度学习马克思主义经典著作进而把握马克思主义理论的精神实质；就要以“活”的态度把马克思主义基本原理与中国实际相结合，学会把马克思主义理论应用于中国的具体实际。不断从马克思主义经典著作当中汲取科学智慧和精神力量，准确领会马克思主义理论的精神实质，这既体现出中国共产党人学习马克思主义经典著作的科学态度和方法，也是中国共产党作为中国人民的主心骨始终走在时代前列的内在要求。
