The central collective leadership with Xi Jinping as the core insists on combining the basic principles of Marxism with the specific practice of Chinas reform and development, and consistently developing socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics. In 2017, the Central Economic Work Conference first proposed “Xi Jinpings socialist economic thought with Chinese characteristicsin in the new era”, marking the formation of “Xi Jinpings socialist economic thought with Chinese characteristics in new era”.
