Abstract: During the Yan'an period, the Communist Party of China led various economic work in the antiJapanese bases behind the enemy, created a public economy with public industry as the main body, provided basic guarantee for the Party and government organs and the war of resistance, and accumulated independent governance in a certain area and lead the valuable experience of the public economy. In the course of leading the development of the public economy from scratch and from small to large, the Party has formed the general policy of “centralized leadership and decentralized management”, established a unified system of public factory leadership, and conducted a series of explorations in the management system. The historical experience of the Party leading the public economy during the Yan'an period shows the guiding ideology and practice of the Party's leading economic work, and embodies the importance and necessity of the Marxist party's leading the economic work. The centralized leadership of the work provides a historical perspective and basis.
