Opportunities and Challenges: AIGC Empowers Ideological and Political Education in the New Era Wang Shao Teaching and Research    2023, 57 (5): 106-116.   Abstract （616）      PDF （7468KB）（404）       Knowledge map    Save The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) represented by ChatGPT has created new opportunities for the digital development of ideological and political education in the new era. AIGC, on which techniques such as Contrastive LanguageImage Pretraining (CLIP), the diffusion model (Diffusion) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) are based, can promote the integration of forms and contents of ideological and political education, the multifaceted interactions between the context and the environment, and the indepth exchanges between subjects and objects. At the same time, the fact that AIGC empowers ideological and political education has also brought new challenges in the new era. Influenced by preconceived conclusions, panentertainment and the misuse of technology, it can easily solidify the bias of young students, affect their ideals and beliefs, and increase the ethical and moral risks. We should insist on examining the influence of AIGC on ideological and political education in the new era with a systematic, dialectical and developmental perspective, giving full play to the positive effects of AIGC, increasing the supply of effective discourse to guide young students to foster positive values, using the feature correlation for them to develop positive character traits, and emphasizing the integration of ethics of science and technology in the education of young students. This paper aims to comb through the relevant ideas in fine traditional Chinese culture, and grasp the commonalities between the Chinese and Western paths to modernization and the characteristics of the Chinese path to modernization, so as to build a solid traditional cultural foundation for the Chinese path to modernization. Research shows that the commonality between the Chinese and Western paths to modernization lies in the idea of “discarding the outdated in favor of the new”, while “when there are so many people, what should be done next”, “regarding the people as the foundation of the state”, “educating people when they are rich”, “promoting harmony between humanity and nature”, “fostering neighborliness” and other ideas in traditional culture fully reflect the characteristics of the Chinese path to modernization such as the huge population, common prosperity for all, material and culturalethical advancement, harmony between humanity and nature, and peaceful development. The adaptation of the basic tenets of Marxism to Chinas specific realities and its fine traditional culture has enabled the Chinese people to change from passive to active thinking, and gradually found by itself the Chinese path to modernization as a new form of human civilization. At present, while the promotion of China's international discourse power is facing multiple challenges, such as the suppression of Western discourse hegemony, the constraints of the current international order, and the inadequacy of its own international discourse capacity, the Chinese nation is moving towards great rejuvenation, socialism with Chinese characteristics has become more mature and welldefined, and the global governance system is undergoing profound changes, providing the country with great strategic opportunities. At the same time, it proclaims the fundamental mission of the Party for what it stands for and what it lives for, outlines the fundamental path of the Party to readily take responsibility and ably perform their duties, demonstrates the fundamental position of the Party on whom to serve and on whom to rely, and contains a deep logic from who I am to who I am for and from what I do to how I do it. In the course of longterm struggle, the Chinese Communists have inherited the great founding spirit of the Party, and generated distinctive spiritual forms according to social practices in different historical periods. From a macro perspective, they can be summarized successively as the spirit of great revolution, the spirit of hard work, the spirit of reform and opening up, and the spirit of great struggle. The establishment of the Party group of the standing committee of the local people's congress is an inherent requirement of the Communist Party of China as the highest force for political leadership and the central force leading the people forward,  which has solved the dilemma that the Party should exercise the state leadership but not replace it, and realized the organic unity of the Party leadership and governance. The full play of the leadership of the Party groups of the standing committees of local people's congresses depends on the effective operation of meeting mechanisms, the mechanisms for requesting instructions and submitting reports, communication and coordination mechanisms and the mechanisms of extensive contacts within the Party groups.
